Mentor Program

This is an opportunity for you to share your professional and personal experiences with a student who is headed for a career in the Communication field. You can help a student gain valuable insight into career choices and networking skills. In addition, this is your chance to support your alma mater in a very significant way.

Participating mentees are College of Communication juniors who are in good academic standing. Mentors and mentees are matched as closely as possible in their career area.

Your commitment
At a minimum, students and mentors should meet/talk one hour every month from October 2015 to May 2016. After the initial introduction, students are responsible for contacting the mentor and getting on the mentor’s calendar. Participants must also complete a mentor-student contract and development plan, focused on a meeting schedule, discussion topics and goals. We would prefer mentors who are in Southeastern Wisconsin to allow for at least one in-person meeting per semester.
