Join Marquette alumni, parents and friends for the annual John Carroll Society Mass and brunch. Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi, chaplain for the John Carroll Society, will celebrate Mass followed by brunch and a thought-provoking lecture at The Hotel Monaco. This year’s speaker is Msgr. Jeffrey N. Steenson who will speak about the newly created Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.

About the Speaker: Monsignor Jeffrey Steenson is an accomplished theologian with advanced degrees from Harvard and Oxford, an avid aviator, and a professor at the University of St. Thomas and St. Mary’s seminary in Houston, Texas. He is also a former Episcopal bishop, married, and was tapped by Pope Benedict XVI earlier this year to serve as the first Ordinary of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter.
